We had a wonderfull time in Turkey. The hotel for the teachers was excellent and the families for our two students excelled in hospitality. The program was prepared in details and we enjoyed all excursions. We discovered Turkish teachers and students as great dancers. The students at the school were extremely friendly. We enjoed the program prepared at school. We loved the hospitality of the people. Their kindness was never-ending. The willingness to help was always inspiring. It’s the same harmony of traditional & modern cultures that makes them so friendly. There is incredible history throughout the country and an amazing variety of scenery, climate and nature.
Turkey for us is rich in many colours, tastes, food. We realized how much we really enjoyed the food in Turkey, drinking Turkish coffee and tea.
The Comenius meeting was for us next occasion to common european integration. We took some Turkey to Poland.

I can bravely say that the Turkish meeting was one of the greatest experiences of my life. Our Turkish friends did their best; they did an incredible job. They managed to make and accomplish a really rich programme, and meanwhile, above all, the atmosphere was unique.
On the first day, the school programme was amazing full of love and hospitality. Then, on the second day, in the national park we had a really great time indeed, but my favourite day was the third one, when we visited Cappadocia, which was so beautiful that I cannot really find words… On the fourth day, in Ankara we were lucky to see the monument of the greatest Turkish statesman, Kemal Atatürk, we spent some valuable minutes in Kocatepe Mosque and we had a look at in a real Turkish bazaar.
We enjoyed the whole week very much, and thanks to our Turkish friends we could experience the greatest level of hospitality. That was the most important thing!!!

It was a wonderful meeting! The country, the landscapes, the history, the exotic, the culture, the people, the colleagues, the students…everything matters so much to me. Our project team is more and more consolidated after every meeting, the fruits of this team work are obvious – quality products with a practical usage. I admire the hospitality of our hosts and the families of the Turkish students. Our team cannot be more satisfied.

We are always happy to participate and to contribute to a multilateral Comenius project “National Parks of Europe”. This meeting in Ankara was not an exception. Firstly, it helped to develop social communication and organization competencies. It was a valuable experience for all of us to meet teachers from 7 more European schools, to share opinions about project activities, achieved goals and to discuss the details of the final meeting in Zagreb.
This Comenius meeting was a golden opportunity for us to get acquainted with secondary education systems of other countries. We could compare the similarities and differences of teaching methods and strategies.
All the days in Ankara left lots of memories in our heart and minds: Turkish traditional dances, Soguksu National park, Cappadocia rocks, Ankara Mauzoleum, a Mosque and hospitable people. We believe that it is just a small part of Turkish treasure. Waiting for other meetings to see You again!
